Well, I finally did it, I created a Facebook page for DIGImmortal Photo. I'm not a big social media kinda guy. I'm far too private to feel comfortable in a world of "look at what I'm eating" or "I'm here at this place, come find me."

Some people might think I'm a pansy for this, but basically, the client (actually, the clients PR agent) requested that I hand over a few select images the night of the job, immediately following the shoot.

This was a very busy weekend for me, photographically, and now I find myself staring down a long list of projects that need editing. This weekend I completed 4 shoots, 2 of which really kicked my ass. Needless to say I'm exhausted, especially since I was running all over NJ and fighting the clock the entire time.

Lately I've been doing a lot of thinking, and rethinking, regarding my approach to business and marketing. There has to be more opportunity out there for more steady work, but it's very hard to find. On top of that, living just outside of NYC puts me at a great disadvantage at times. There are lots of chances for work in the City, but the problem lies in the over-saturated market. Finally, a year later from the start of my 365 project, I'm done. Last weekend (7/25/10) Fear Factory returned to Irving Plaza in New York City for the first time in a while. I was lucky enough to be in the photo pit for this amazing performance. The chemistry between Dino and Burton is undeniable and with the incredible rhythm section of Byron Stroud (bass) and Gene Hoglan (drums) they are a force to be reckoned with.

Yesterday the overlapping worlds of photography and music got some very sad news. Legendary Rock and Roll photographer Jim Marshall died in his sleep.

I took this shot last night for my ongoing 365 Project. This isn't the first time I've done a shot with this same kind of setup, and since people have asked in the past how I get shots like this, I thought I'd give a quick lesson on how something like this can be done.

Well, I had said back in the first blog entry for the year that 2010 would bring some changes to the way I do things, and one of the most important things I needed to work on was the layout of the site and the color scheme.

When I started DIGImmortal Photo, it was geared 99% to bands and the music industry. His pirate themed band Swashbuckle was opening the show in every city.
